The year 2009 is winding down and it has been a truly amazing and memorable year. My beautiful wife promoted to Arbonne RVP, I submitted and defended (but am still completing final revisions on) my dissertation, and our first son Ilan arrived. The weird thing is that because there were so many tremendous moments this year, I can hardly remember the actual passage of time. I really can’t believe that 2009 is almost over.
I’ve blogged this video (in which Bobby McFerrin demonstrates the pentatonic scale) before, but I enjoy it so much, I had to include here, too.
Interesting research. Other headlines note that loneliness, “like happiness,” spreads across networks. In some of my own work, I’ve found evidence that feelings of trust for one’s professional colleagues is transmitted through network relationships.
